Chariots II Members at both the Westgate and Bourne Leisure Centres will be able to book activities online from Monday 18 December, via Chichester District Council’s web site http://www.chichester.gov.uk
Members will initially be able to make online reservations including classes, squash and badminton. Further activities will be added to this list after the new system has been running for a trial period.
‘Booking leisure activities online is yet another new service provided by Westgate Leisure,’ said Kevin McCoy, Westgate Centre Manager.
‘Both Centres have worked with customers and staff to provide a service that is fair to all users by ensuring that the same booking rights apply whether they want to book online, by phone, or face to face. Chariots II Members are the first to be able to book activities online, but this will be extended to other users next year. For those who need help using the system, the Centre will have staff on hand to demonstrate the new facility.’
Westgate Leisure is also increasing how far in advance all customers can book to attend fitness classes. Previously, class tickets went on sale thirty minutes before the activity took place, but from 18 December they will be available for customers to book up to seven days in advance, depending on their level of membership.
A new promotion is being run by Westgate Leisure called ‘Choices’. This enables people to join Chariots II one of three ways – whilst making big savings. Those interested in finding out about becoming a Chariots II Member of Westgate Leisure, or wanting to find out more information regarding booking activities online, should contact the Westgate Leisure Centre on 01243 785 651 or visit the Chichester District Council website http://www.chichester.gov.uk and follow the link to Leisure Centres.
