Staff from local businesses and from the Council will be able to get advice and information on a wide range of topics, to help keep them happy and healthy.

The Health Fair will include stands on topics from stress and nutrition through to cancers and men’s and women’s health. Westgate Leisure will also be on hand to carry out a range of health and fitness tests.

A range of mini treatments will be available, including Indian head massage and facials, to help people stay happy as well as healthy. There will also be a prize draw to win an MP3 player.

Councillor Heather Caird, Portfolio Holder for Health, said,

“Promoting awareness of health issues is a very important part of the Council’s Health Development work. The Health Fair promises to be an interesting and enjoyable event.”
