Two live reindeer will be bringing Christmas cheer to Chichester when
they pay a visit to the city centre on Saturday 24 November.
The animals will be outside Marks & Spencer in East Street from
10 am to 4 pm, and a photographer from the Chichester Observer will be
on hand to take photographs - providing the ideal Christmas present for
family and friends. All the photos will be in the Chichester Observer
the following week and available to buy from the Observer offices in
Eastgate, Chichester.
Councillor Maureen Elliott, Portfolio Holder for the Economy, said:
"Following
the success of the reindeer last year, I am sure they will again prove
to be extremely popular with both young and old and will encourage
curious shoppers to come to the city."
The reindeer have been
provided by Chichester District Council. The District Council wishes to
thank Covers for supplying the fencing around the reindeer and the
Chichester Observer for its support.
