| Local school girl, Amy Rock aged 7, will get the first chance to see her own flowerbed in Priory Park this Friday, after winning a Chichester District Council competition. The flowerbed will feature within both Priory Park's and the City's entries in the South East in Bloom competition. |

| Chichester Harbour Battered By Winter Storms |
Since the small hours of this morning Chichester Harbour has been on the receiving end of one of the worst storms this country has seen for years, unfortunately the high winds and torrential rain coincided with spring tides. Throughout the Chichester area reports of fallen power lines, trees blocking roads and other incidents were being phoned through to emergency services. |

| NEW FOOTAGE OF HARBOUR MARINE LIFE |
| The film was taken recently as part of a sub-tidal survey funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. A team of divers went down in various places in Chichester Harbour recording the species found and taking video. The survey revealed the wealth of life under our waves. The divers were surprised at the clarity of the water and were able to bring back good images of species including sea squirts, sea anemones, pipefish, sea slugs, oysters and crabs. |
