Right to roam 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Hi,

I am new here and I am pleased to have found a local forum to discuss local issues. I have friends who have waterside propertys and we were wondering how the new proposed right to roam laws will be carried out in terms of the government allowing anyone to walk along the whole coast of the United Kingdom? do the land owners have to make footpaths etc on their part of the shoreline? what if they don't? ?

It seems a bit unfair to make people turn their private property and gardens in to public footpaths.

Pip

I cannot see the real harm in this new law, I guess the main worry will be the private land owners privacy, personally I am more concerned about the eroision caused by lots of ramblers.
