Aircraft noise 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I am a new member so don't know if this has been a live topic.

We have been troubled especially on fine days by small planes looping and zooming over the harbour and wrecking the peace and quiet we come for. We don't mind if they pass over, but why remain in one spot and over the harbour, rather than the sea?

My friend has been in touch with the Harbour Commission, Southbourne Parish Council and our MP. If others feel the same it may be usful if you express your views too. We are not anti-flyers and can understand the pleasure of piloting your plane on a lovely clear day, but just want some understanding of our need for quiet down on the ground.

Congrats to all involved in these forums, a super idea

I am also fed up with the noise in the summer, after a long week at work I just want to relax in my garden without being straffed by planes all afternoon. Why they cant perform their aerobatics elsewhere over the solent or something I dont know.

Hi everyone.

I live near Birdham and we also seem to get buzzed by these noisy planes at weekends. Perhaps we could get a petition going?

It is about time we all stood up and did something about this.

James.
